Giga, a challenger telco brand in Singapore wanted to launch its 5G plans but was a couple of months (and a couple of million dollars in budget) behind its bigger competitors.
The telco customer journey in Singapore was outdated, requiring customers to walk into retail stores, carry extensive documentation and wait extended periods for activations.
We chose to focus our strategy on a single letter that set giga apart - the letter ‘e’ in giga’s e-sims that could be activated instantly. We invited Singaporeans to use our app to scan this letter to unlock an e-sim and free prizes wherever they saw it - online, on the streets, even on our competitors’ logos, converting everything into a giga e-sim ad.
